If you don't want Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla to mess with your email, but still don't want to see the spam, however, there's something for you, too: using message views, you can hide detected spam temporarily.
Hide Spam in Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla
To move junk mail out of view in Mozilla Thunderbird, Netscape or Mozilla:
- Click on the View: drop-down menu in the search bar (above the message list).
- If you cannot see the search bar, select View | Show/Hide | Search Bar from the menu in Netscape or Mozilla.
- Select Not Junk.
This will mask those messages whose junk status identifies them as spam. To return display to all emails in the folder, select All from the View: menu in the search bar.
