How to Forward Multiple Messages in One with Mac OS X Mail

It's easy to forward a message with Mac OS X Mail. But did you know that you can forward multiple message at once?

Forward Multiple Messages in One with Mac OS X Mail

To send multiple messages all meshed into one forward in Mac OS X Mail:

  • Highlight all messages you want to forward.
  • Select Message | Forward from the menu.
    • To forward the messages in full (including all header lines), select Message | Forward as Attachment from the menu.

Forward Multiple Messages in One with Mac OS X Mail 1 and 2

To forward multiple emails in one with Mac OS X Mail:

  • Highlight the emails you want to forward in the message list.
    • You can select more than one message by holding down the Command key while you click or drag the mouse pointer to highlight.
  • Create a new message.
  • Select Edit | Append Selected Messages from the menu.
    • In Mail 1.x, select Message | Append Selected Messages.

Mac OS X Mail has a keyboard shortcut for this action, too, and if you want to train your brain you can try to remember Command-Shift-I.
