Assign a Custom Icon to a Folder in KMail

All my message folders in KMail are properly named (bien sur). But even if they were not, I'd recognize them immediately. Every folder in KMail can have a custom icon that gives a visual clue to its contents.

To assign a custom icon to a folder in KMail:

• Click on the KMail folder whose icon you want to change with the right mouse button.
  • Note that you can select a custom icon only for custom folders — it does not work for inbox, outbox, sent-mail, trash and drafts, which have their specific icons already.
• Select Properties... from the context menu.
• Make sure Use custom icons is selected.
• Click on the Normal: and Unread: buttons to select custom icons for the folder.
