Insert a Link to a Web Page in Emails with IncrediMail

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

Links (the text or images that take you to another page when you click them) make the web work, and they work in your emails, too.

If you insert links in your IncrediMail emails, recipients can go to your favorite sites with just a mouse click. And creating links in IncrediMail doesn't require many mouse clicks more.

To insert a link to a web page in emails with IncrediMail:

  • Open the page you want to link to in your browser.
  • Highlight the page's URL in the address bar.
    • The URL typically begins with http://, https:// or ftp://.
  • Press Ctrl-C.
  • Use the mouse to highlight the text or image you want to link in the message you are composing in IncrediMail.
  • Click the Insert Hyperlink button.
    • Alternatively, select Insert | Hyperlink... from the menu.
  • Press Ctrl-V.
  • Click OK.
