To make sure this doesn't happen to you and your IncrediMail, you can configure it to hang up when it is done sending and receiving mail.
To make IncrediMail hang up automatically after exchanging mail:
- Select Tools | Options... from the IncrediMail menu.
- Go to the General tab.
- Make sure Hang up after sending and receiving is checked.
- Click OK.
