Send a Message to Someone in Your Hotmail Address Book

By , About.com Guide

Usually, you start composing a message in Hotmail and enter recipients only then.

You can also have it the other way round, though: beginning a message with its recipients from the Hotmail address book.

To compose a message to a Hotmail address book entry:

  • Select Contacts from the top Hotmail navigation bar.
  • Make sure the boxes next to the desired recipient or recipients of your message are checked.
  • Click the Send Mail button.

Hotmail now sets up a new message with the recipients already entered in the To: field.
