How to Check Other Email Accounts with Hotmail

When you are away from your home computer and email program, you can still check your POP email account through Hotmail if you are subscribed to MSN Hotmail Plus or MSN Internet Access.

Set up Your Email Accounts in Hotmail

First, you need to configure your POP accounts in Hotmail:

• Select Options from the top Hotmail navigation bar.
• Follow the POP Mail Retrieval Settings link.
• Enter the access information for up to four POP email accounts.
  • Use the POP Server Name, User Name and User Password given to you by your Internet Service Provider to provide Hotmail with the details needed to log into your account and retrieve new mail.
  • You should probably check Leave messages on POP server so that you can retrieve them to your regular email program later.
• Click the OK button.

Check Other Email Accounts with Hotmail

To check your POP accounts for new messages in Hotmail and retrieve them:

• Click on POP Mail on the right of your Hotmail home page.
