Add a Sender to Your Windows Live Hotmail Address Book Quickly
To add a sender to your Windows Live Hotmail contacts:
- Open a message from the desired sender.
- Click Add contact next to the From: name and address.
- Optionally, click Add details (after This address has been added to your contacts.)
- Edit the contact's details.
- Click Save.
In Windows Live Hotmail classic, you can:
- Compose and send a reply to a message from the desired sender.
- Make sure the desired email address is checked on the Your message has been sent to the following recipients page under Add contacts.
- Click Add to contacts.
Add a Sender to Your MSN Hotmail Address Book Quickly
To add the sender of a message you have received in MSN Hotmail to your address book quickly:
- Open a message from the sender you want to add in MSN Hotmail.
- Click the Save Address button.
- Make sure Add to Contacts is selected for all the people you want to add to your Hotmail address book.
- Edit the Quickname:, First Name: and Last Name: if necessary.
- Click OK.
