SpamSieve 2.1.2
SpamSieve lets you add superior Bayesian spam filtering to Mac OS X email clients, is just as easy to use as Mail's junk mail filters, and can give you statistics, too.

G-Lock EasyMail Professional 4.52
G-Lock EasyMail Professional is a very nice, easy to use and comfortable bulk email application, but not without weak spots.

Mail Watch 1.5
Mail Watch is a very nice and unobtrusive way of keeping an eye on your email accounts for new mail. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to preview mail or use filters to have only certain messages announced.

Inbox100 4.0
Inbox100 applies an aggressive strategy to achieve a 100 percent spam-free Inbox. The idea of combining white lists with Bayesian statistics isn't bad, but Inbox100's implementation is prone to produce false positives with a ridiculously high spam probability for all mail from unknown senders.

Advanced Spam Defense 1.0
Advanced Spam Defense looks and feels great. Don't let yourself be lulled into its name and interface's promise of competence, though. While Advanced Spam Defense is easy to use, it's filters aren't all that precise, unless you make good use of the whitelist.

RSSConnect 1.0
RSSConnect is a flexible RSS feed reader that shows considerable power in some areas. Unfortunately, there are also a few weak spots in both features and usability.

IncrediConvert
IncrediConvert lets you get your messages (including attachments) out of IncrediMail into other email clients by converting them to EML files in a rush.

MailTalkX 3.42
MailTalkX is a powerful mail checker with a filtering engine that allows you to automate and customize your email handling (and get rid of spam to some degree).

RSS-News 1.1
RSS-News is an easy to use and quite efficient RSS feed reader. Its tree view is convenient, but RSS-News lacks searches, filtering, virtual folders and other powerful features, unfortunately.

Mail.appetizer 0.9
Mail.appetizer adds really classy new mail notification to Mac OS X Mail. In a transparent window, it displays sender, subject and some body lines. Unfortunately, Mail.appetizer lacks a bit in functionality. Customizable folders and message interaction would be nice in particular.

Disruptor OL 1.0.58.95
Disruptor OL is a thorough and highly effective approach to eliminating spam from your Outlook Inbox. Disruptor OL combines multiple tactics, which, unfortunately, makes it a bit complex.

Bloglines
Bloglines is a great, web-based way to read RSS feeds. There's no software to wrestle with, and using Bloglines is smooth and easy. You can even subscribe to searches in either your or all feeds.

SpamSlam 2.1.1
SpamSlam implements effective challenge/response spam filtering and combines it with a Bayesian filter to avoid unnecessary challenges. SpamSlam doesn't weed out all the problems, though, and the statistics-based filter can't be trained.

SpamAssassin 2.63
SpamAssassin provides efficient scoring and Bayesian filtering. While SpamAssassin catches most spam out of the box, the threshold possibly has to be adjusted to eliminate false positives.

eMill 2.5.24
eMill is a highly powerful, advanced and flexible bulk email application, prepared to tackle even the most complicated mailing needs with its scripting language.

NewsGator 2.0
NewsGator does the very right thing of integrating RSS feeds (and Usenet news) with an email client. NewsGator lets you read, archive, organize and search news with all the power of Outlook.

NewsGator Online Services
NewsGator Online Services make your RSS feed follow you. Using intelligent subscription and item synchronization, you can read news on the web, via POP email, on a mobile device or in NewsGator for Outlook. Unfortunately, the NewsGator Online Services web edition lacks a bit in features and functionality.

BoogiePOP Enterprise 3.5
BoogiePOP Enterprise detects just about any bouncing email address and writes it flexibly to just about any database.

Becky! Internet Mail 2.0
One of the best email clients available, Becky! Internet Mail is extremely powerful, flexible and easy to use.

Scribe 1.86
InScribe and its free version, i.Scribe, are true little email program gems. They're small, fast, efficient and very usable. Unfortunately, they lack secure messaging, and the IMAP support in Scribe is not perfect.

Mozilla 1.6
Mozilla is not only a great browser, but also a fully featured and powerful email client. It comes with great security and privacy, highly effective spam filtering and is still easy and fun to use.

Spam Arrest
Spam Arrest is an effective albeit a bit aggressive spam filtering service. It removes all mail from unapproved senders before you download it and can be controlled comfortably via a Web interface.

BMail 1.07
BMail is a simple yet quite powerful, but not very comfortable bulk mailing tool.

intraVnews 1.01
intraVnews makes Outlook read RSS feeds naturally, allowing for smart grouping, searching, filtering and archiving of news items and blog posts. Unfortunately, intraVnews' interface is not always straight forward, and the option to post news would be great, too.

PostSmile 2.1
PostSmile comes with a solid collection of smileys, and expanding it with either your own graphics or additional packs is just as easy as using the emoticons in your email messages. It's a pity that PostSmile doesn't work consistently with all email programs.
