Enigmail adds easy to use and competent support for both plain text and MIME-compatible OpenPGP message encryption and signing to Mozilla, Thunderbird and Netscape.

Sauce Reader 1.2.1
Sauce Reader is a very organized and practical RSS feed reader. It lacks a few advanced features, but the basics are easy and convenient to use.

Liferea 0.4.6e
Liferea is simple and lacks more advanced features, but it offers a very clean, fast and useful approach to reading RSS feeds.

SpamStopper 1.5.0
SpamStopper provides an easy way to protect your email address from being collected by spammers.

EF Mailbox Manager 1.50
EF Mailbox Manager is a tool to get an overview of your email accounts and delete mail right at the server quickly. It lacks more advanced functionality, though, and supports POP accounts only.

SpamWeed 1.5
SpamWeed is a simple and easy to use, but effective and competent anti-spam tool using statistics-based filtering. It's a pity that SpamWeed supports POP and Hotmail accounts only.

Zaep 2.0.0
Zaep can help your home or organization get pretty much spam free by allowing only mail from whitelisted senders through. Unfortunately, Zaep only supports POP accounts and the 24/7 availability requirement makes it less well suited for home users.

Group Mail Plus 3.4.193
Group Mail Plus is an almost feature-complete, powerful and flexible, but still easy to use bulk email application for Windows.

Group Mail Free 3.4.195
While not suited well for larger mailings, Group Mail Free is perfect if you need to send personalized messages and email marketing campaigns to a smaller group of recipients.

MaxBulk Mailer 3.2
The ideal tool for sending highly personalized messages in both plain text and HTML, MaxBulk Mailer lacks when it comes to list management and includes no SMTP engine.

BlogExpress 1.02b
BlogExpress is a nice, simple and highly functional news reader. You can't currently use it to search news or work on individual items, though.

The Bat! 2.04.7
The Bat! is a highly sophisticated and efficient email client. It makes handling even large volumes of mail a pleasant and secure experience. The HTML support is a bit of a patchwork, though.

Advanced Attachments Processor 1.4
Advanced Attachments Processor extracts and archives files from all kinds of mailboxes flexibly and reliably.

R-Mail 1.0
R-Mail is a simple, but effective utility to recover mail from damaged Outlook Express files and undelete accidentally purged mail.

Active Email Monitor 2.F
Simple as a mail checker, Active Email Monitor includes nice anti-spam and antivirus filtering options.

Awasu Personal Edition 2.0
Awasu Personal Edition is an extremely feature-rich RSS feed reader. The option to enhance it with plugins and hooks in particular makes Awasu a powerful aggregator, in spite of some limitations.

InboxShield 3.0.3.2
InboxShield is a relatively competent, easy to use and feature-rich anti-spam tool. It does produce some false positives out of the box, though.

Safe E-Mail Links Scout 1.0
Safe E-Mail Links Scout is a swiftly used tool that encodes your email address in mailto: links to protect it from being harvested by spammers. Some more complicated enciphering and support for default mailto: subject and body would be nice, though.

Em@ilEncoder 2.0
Em@ilEncoder is easy to use, and it encodes your email address for use on a Web site while hiding it from spammers.

eClean 2000 3.0.1
eClean 2000 cleans broken forwards perfectly out of the box and can configured to suit your requirements with numerous options. eClean 2000 is not so well suited for formatting replies, though.

Get Mail 2.3
Get Mail is a simple and functional tool that forwards messages from Hotmail accounts to any email address. Unfortunately, Get Mail doesn't function as a POP or IMAP proxy, doesn't allow you to specify which folders to download and can be a bit confusing to set up.

Email Effects 1.6
Email Effects allows everybody to create ASCII art and fancy text easily and is great fun to use.

Mail Forward for Mac OS X 1.2
Mail Forward for Mac OS X lets you forward mail from multiple AOL, Hotmail, MSN and Yahoo! Mail accounts to any other email address, and read it there.

Mail Forward for Mac 2.5
Mail Forward collects all your email accounts, even all your AOL, Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail accounts at one email address easily and automatically.

Quick Mail Sort 2.0.0
Quick Mail Sort helps you organize and archive mail in Outlook by automatically filing messages by sender. While useful, Quick Mail Sort is not the final answer to all email organization problems.
