How to Resend a Message in Evolution

There are many reasons why you want to resend an email, but all you need is one easy way to do it in Evolution. Whether you have mistyped an email, forgot to Cc: an important person or got your initial message back with a temporary failure, Evolution always makes it a snap to send the same (or almost the same) message again.

Resend a Message in Evolution

To resend an email message in Evolution:

• Go to the folder where the sent copy of the desired email is kept.
  • By default, Evolution saves all outgoing mail to the Sent folder.
• Click on the message with the right mouse button.
• Select Edit as New Message... from the menu.
• Make any necessary changes.
• Click Send.

If the original message was a bounce, you may want to delete it from the Sent (or any other archive) folder to avoid later confusion.
