Because I don't read all messages in my Ximian Evolution Inbox in their proper, consecutive order, I end up with a patchwork of read and unread mail. Fortunately, Evolution lets me concentrate on the unread messages easily (so I can clean up the patchwork a bit).
To hide read messages temporarily in a folder in Evolution:
- Select View | Hide Read Messages from the menu in Evolution.
If you want to unhide these messages again to see all mail in the folder:
- Select View | Show Hidden Messages from the menu.
