How to Create a Signature in Eudora

Signatures are a few lines of text that you can append to emails. They typically contain contact information (like your address or phone number), but your can also use it for some marketing pitch or a witty quotation.

Create a Signature in Eudora

To create a new email signature in Eudora:

  • Select Tools | Signatures from the Eudora menu.
  • Right-click anywhere inside the signature window.
  • Select New... from the context menu.
  • Enter the name of the new signature.
    • It is a good idea to choose one that reflects who or what you will use the signature for.
    • If you'll use it for communications with friends, for example, you could name the signature "friends".
  • Click OK.
  • Type your signature text.
  • Select File | Save from the menu.
