Edit the From: Header in Eudora

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

The From: header tells the recipient who a message is from. But similar to the sender's address on a letter, you can put anything you want there.

By default, Eudora for Windows does not allow you to change the From: header when you compose a message.

Edit the From: Header in Eudora

To make this header line editable, you have to change a hidden Eudora setting:

  • Edit the X-Eudora-option EditAllHeaders.
  • Set it to '1' to make the From: header editable.
