New Message With Attachment by Drag-and-Drop in Eudora

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

To send a file as an attachment with Eudora, there is no need to first compose a new message in Eudora, then select Message | Attach File from the menu only to search for that file in a file selection dialog and eventually attach it with another click.

All you need to do to create a new message containing an attachment in Eudora:

  • Open the folder containing the file you want to attach in Windows Explorer.
  • Grab the file and drop it on the Eudora window.

Eudora will automatically start composing a new message with your default personality and insert the file as an attachment.

This also works with multiple files. If you drop a file on an existing message composition window, it will be attached to that message instead of creating a new one.
