Label Messages Instantly in Eudora for Mac

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

Labeling messages is a wonderful way of prioritizing (or non-prioritizing) mail.

Eudora implements labels extensively, and you can mark messages as important, being worked on, personal, or whatever you like. Each label is additionally associated with a color code.

Labeling as such is so useful already, but it's amazing how easy it is to label a message in Eudora for the Mac. There's no need to go through the menu and select Message | Change | Label.

To label messages instantly in Eudora for Mac:

  • Click on the toolbar of the message window, right above the text field displaying the subject.
  • Select the label you like.

The color code of the selected label immediately shows up in the very area above the subject where you can click again to change the label again at any time.
