How to Sort Your Subscriptions Alphabetically in Bloglines

By Heinz Tschabitscher, About.com

Maybe you have organized your Blogines subscriptions — neatly, hierarchically and logically into folders. But maybe (like me) you have not.

Then your feeds will be in the chaotic or logic (depending on your definition) chronological order. For reading news effectively in Bloglines, that's no problem, but what if you're looking for a particular feed? Then having your subscription sorted alphabetically comes in handy, and it can be accomplished with a few clicks, too.

Sort Your Subscriptions Alphabetically in Bloglines

To sort your feed subscriptions alphabetically in Bloglines:

  • Select [link url=http://www.bloglines.com/manage_subs]Edit[link] under My Feeds.
  • Make sure the feeds you want to sort are checked.
    • To select a range of feeds, hold down Shift while selecting the first and the last entry.
    • To select all feeds in a folder (can also be the root folder), just highlight the folder.
  • Select Sort: A-Z from the Choose Operation: drop-down menu.
  • Click Submit.
