The small church in the small village in the Austrian mountains where I grew up for me as a child was a big church in a big village. But what made it truly great was the light in early spring. After a long, joyful and touristically exciting winter, you could literally feel how the air, now warm from the sun climbing higher and higher, breathed a sigh of relaxation in one moment and filled the thick, cold walls with renewed life-force in the next. Everything gleamed, and Easter truly blessed it all.
