Zeus, father of the Greek gods but still a kid, was fostered by Amalthaea, who lovingly fed him goat's milk. When one of the goat's horns broke off, Amalthaea filled it with fruits and flowers and brought it to Zeus. Zeus in return placed both Amalthaea and the horn among the stars.
