How to Mark Email Unread in iPhone Mail

After 0997 comes 0998, then 0999, of course, followed by — 0001; at least in iPhone Photo's number system. Does that make you nervous? Is IMG_0999.JPG approaching and IMG_0001.JPG still around?
Relax.
I've just taken image after image of keyboards and tea cups and windows and walls. After IMG_0999 came IMG_0001. IMG_0001 rests well and safely, right next to the other image called IMG_0001.
iPhone Mail need not make you nervous either, at least not if you've "read" an email inadvertently. You can mark it unread, right then and there:
