Would you please update your article on how to delete your gmail email account as some steps have changed?
I attempted to delete an account but am confused about what info I should enter. It’s the step where the alternative email address is already filled in. I left it as is (and also tried using other gmail account names to no avail) but repeatedly got error messages saying I should enter an external email address as my sign on name to my gmail account. Should I enter a Yahoo account name instead or what do you think it’s asking for? I stopped the deletion attempt as I didn’t want to be somehow entirely locked out of gmail. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks very much for your informative articles.
