The Bat! 4.1.7 - Rich Templates, No Folder Size Limits and Better Backups
Wednesday January 7, 2009
The Bat!, handy hand-winged email program, has learned a few new tricks.
Message templates now not only sport flexible macros (to insert text snippets or variables from the original message when replying, for example) but also rich HTML formatting, easily done right in The Bat!. In The Bat! 4.1, your folders can grow without limits (on FAT disks, the maximum file — thus email folder — size is still 2 GB, though), and the backup and restoration process has been improved (you can now back up and recover individual folders).
›› The Bat! is a highly sophisticated and efficient email client. It makes handling even large volumes of mail a pleasant and secure experience. (Windows)
