Gmail (Google Mail) - Message Templates and Canned Reply Automation

Gmail (Google Mail) - Free Email and Chat Service
Gmail's labs keep getting fuller and fuller. Now they have to schlepp surplus phials to your Gmail. You can fill them with message templates and spill the latter over new messages and replies over and over and over.
Unfortunately, using the templates erases all previously entered text — including quoted text in replies. In return, you can have Gmail send these terse replies automatically using filters.
Other recent additions include graphical smileys, options for IMAP (you can hide certain folders, say All Mail, for example), Mail Goggles designed to stop you from sending emails you might regret by putting math problems in between you and message delivery (with a countdown timer) and no empty email body warning if you end the subject with "(EOM)" (and leave the body empty).
›› Gmail is the Google approach to email and chat. Practically unlimited free online storage allows you to collect all your messages, and Gmail's simple but very smart interface lets you find them precisely and see them in context without effort.
