Gmail Label Colors - Because Green is Not the Only Color

Gmail Label ColorsRed, the universal stimulant, is said to increase appetite, too. Don't be surprised to find restaurants innocently decorated with red candles, red tablecloth, red napkins, red paintings, or red light. Blue, by contrast, makes people eat less since we have learned to be taught that blue food is poisonous.
You don't have to take that into account when choosing colors for your Gmail labels, though, as these color connotations depend on the context — and we do not usually think of eating when doing our email, do we? (Mmm.. it's delicious, this nacatamale.)
