Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 - Scam Sensor, Iterative Improvements

Tuesday January 17, 2006
Mozilla ThunderbirdMozilla Thunderbird, the email program that collects messages of all sorts under its large wings, has been updated with many a small improvement that may be just what you have been waiting for. Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 comes with a scam sensor that, a bit overzealously, alerts you about mail that might use tactics commonly used to deceive. Smart folders can now collect mail from different accounts, you can delete attachments from messages manually and have Mozilla Thunderbird delete old mail automatically. If you dread data loss of any sort, Mozilla Thunderbird saves drafts automatically as you compose them (with spelling checked inline now).
›› Mozilla Thunderbird is a fully featured, secure and very functional email client and RSS feed reader. It lets you handle mail efficiently and with style, and Mozilla Thunderbird filters away junk mail too. (Windows, Mac, Linux, OS/2)
