Export Contacts from the Mozilla or Netscape Address Book

Wednesday August 25, 2004
Unfortunately, a Citroën CSV that I could refer to here does not exist. But 2 CV is close enough, I guess, and certainly legend enough. 16 PS! No dashboard, and if it rains heavily you have to move the wiper by hand. The minimalism of this classic French (though not of classic Citroën goddess style) car can only be compared to the minimalism of CSV files. The values are separated by comma. That's all, and Mozilla doesn't even add headings to the "columns". If you need them, you have to add them yourself. Still, exporting to CSV is very useful:
If your contacts are in Mozilla or Netscape but this is not where they should be, you can save them to a CSV file, which in turn allows you to import the email addresses and other details in another program.
