Set the Hotmail Junk Mail Filter to "Enhanced"

If somebody asks you what spam is (and it is not Socrates, who would make you look foolish for using an example to define something), show them your Hotmail Inbox — or your Junk E-mail folder after you have turned on the spam filter in Hotmail, which does a pretty good job, en general.
Get rid of a good deal of the spam in your Hotmail Inbox by making the Hotmail spam filters be more (but not too) aggressive.
