If spammers "take advantage" of something, that means nothing innocent: they misuse something for their advantage. For example, they exploit somebody else's mail server to distribute their bulk emails. Make sure they can't misuse your server:RelayTest Pro lets you test whether a (your) mail server is open for spammers to exploit for relaying their junk through it. (Windows)
