Send Plain Text Messages by Default in Mac OS X Mail

If rich text messages are like foie gras, then plain text emails are like scrambled eggs. Both can be boring or refined, tasteless or delicious.
If you send plain text emails often in Mac OS X Mail, why not make it the default? Here's how to do it.
